In this live event, we will be covering the nuances of deferred maintenance and how to act swiftly while staying in compliance. Our discussion will be centered around different operational options, an update on the current regulations and popular questions currently surrounding MELs.

Lee was introduced to aviation when she took a job with an FAA Part 147 school in 2000. This led to becoming a founder and Executive Director of NCATT, the originating body behind ASTM’s NCATT Certification program for aerospace professionals. She continued her career supporting all aircraft, aircraft maintenance, maintenance technicians, and flight operations with her time at FlightSafety and Flightdocs.
Lee is currently the VP of Marketing & Engagement for ATP, an aviation software company specializing in technical publications, maintenance management, operations, flight scheduling, and inventory control.
She is an active member of the Tarrant County College Aviation Advisory Board, Women in Corporate Aviation, and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Maintenance Committee, where she serves as the Chair for the annual NBAA Maintenance Conference.
David has been a member of the aviation industry his entire career, dating back to his U.S. Army days where he served as an Avionics Mechanic. He continued his career as an A&P mechanic with Delta Air Lines in their MEL Group and Operation Control center as a Maintenance Controller and Avionics Analyst and as an Avionics Mechanic in both line and hanger positions.
David is currently the President of Aerodox, Inc., a family-owned business specializing in developing Minimum Equipment List and other aviation-related manuals worldwide.
He is also an active member of the FAA MMEL Subcommittee Industry Group, working directly with the FAA in writing MMEL Policy Letters dealing with MMEL and MEL guidance.
